Anna Lindsey, DVM
Practice Owner and Veterinarian
Dr. Anna Lindsey was told by her father at a young age she should be a veterinarian, and after years of working with animals in New York, New Jersey, and Florida, Dr. Lindsey found roots in Colorado and pursued her Doctorate at Colorado State University.
She has extensive experience in small animal medicine with a special interest in dentistry and low-stress patient experience. As a Practice Owner, she strives for cultural balance and wellbeing for her team and 5-Star customer service for her clients. For her patients, her motto always rings true: Patient Care Comes First.

Wendy Illick, DVM
Dr. Illick attended Duke University for her undergraduate education, with every intent of becoming a research scientist in primate neurobiology. However, she fell in love with the care and health of the research subjects more than the stuffy academic research setting and chose instead to become a veterinarian.
In practice, she finds she loves preventive and proactive wellness care for pets in all life stages. Building healthy and whole mental, physical, and social lives for our pets is most rewarding for her. She also enjoys feline-friendly practice and maintains a membership with the American Association of Feline Practitioners. She also practices backyard chicken medicine.

Dr. Rachel Lauria
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Rachel Lauria is a Colorado native. She stayed in Colorado to complete two bachelor’s degrees in Biological Sciences and Microbiology at Colorado State University in 2007. Pursuing her love of animals, she earned her veterinary degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at The University of Florida in 2011.
Caring for animals has always been Rachel’s passion. She feels fortunate to be able to spend her life caring for and bettering the lives of all animals. She understands the important role pets play in people’s lives and she treats her patients as if they were her own. Rachel is thrilled to be a part of the team at Clear Creek Animal Hospital. Her current professional interests include soft tissue surgery including laparoscopic surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, urgent care, and preventative care.
Outside of the hospital Rachel enjoys skiing, hiking, cooking, baking, speaking Italian, traveling, and spending time with friends and family including her dog Winston (Boxer/Heeler mix) and her cat Tip (Domestic Shorthair).

Debbie Nickel
Debbie Nickel has a strong passion for the well being of both animals and people and loves forming bonds with clients and their pets. Debbie’s favorite breeds are Shih Tzus and Persains. She has two Shih Tzus, brother and sister from the same litter, and two Persian cats.

Stacia Furseth CVT
After completing her service in the United States Marine Corps, Stacia earned her Bachelor of Science and her Certification in Veterinary Technology at Northern Arizona University. Stacia is incredibly happy to have found a passion and profession that she truly loves every day. Stacia has one Doberman, two cats, a wonderful husband and three crazy kids.

Susan Mackay, CVT
Susan is a proud Colorado native, with roots in Arvada. After enjoying a career in Computer Technology Susan decided it was time to make a change and pursue her true passion – animals. After leaving IT, she earned her degree in Applied Sciences, and then her Certification in Veterinary Technology. Susan likes to stay up to date on the new and great things in animal technology, is currently pursuing Fear Free Certification.

Kara Janda, CVT
Kara has known since she was a little girl that caring for animals is what she wanted to do. She grew up with cats and dogs which turned her love for animals into her passion and career. After getting her first job as an assistant in 2014 she quickly realized she wanted to continue her education and become certified. She received her degree in Applied Science and became certified in 2019. Kara treats every patient as if it was her own and is honored that their families trust her to care for their loved ones!

Leslie Reynolds
For as long as Leslie can remember her family has always had pets. She grew up with cats, dogs, fish and ferrets and she loved them all! She has been in the veterinary field for over 10 years, and still likes to learn new things every day. She loves being a veterinary technician because every day brings variety and new things. Leslie’s current goal is to pursue certification as a veterinary technician.

Kendra Jackson
Kendra realized shortly after graduating from Metropolitan State University of Denver that she wasn’t reaching her full potential and was happiest while helping animals. Kendra is now back at Metro State completing her veterinary prerequisites for CSU’s DVM program. Kendra’s pets include two poodles, chickens, ducks, and the occasional neighborhood cat.

Linnea French, CVT
Linnea is a recent graduate from Colorado Mountain College with an Associate’s in Veterinary Technology. She enjoys snuggling with her dogs and reading a good book, kicking the soccer ball, or playing video games. Linnea grew up with dogs and cats, and her love for animals has helped her find a passion in veterinary medicine.

Joelle Hanson, CVT
Originally from South Florida, Joelle graduated from, the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and was an interior designer before moving to Colorado in 2004. In 2008 she returned to college at the community college of Denver to pursue a degree in veterinary technology and start a new career.
Joelle came to Clear creek Animal Hospital in 2020 after working in Littleton for several years.
Always having a menagerie of mutlispecies animals in her life, including birds, snakes and lizards, Joëlle currently lives in Arvada With a 25 year old Arabian, a 13 year old mustang rescue, a 12 year Old Bernese Mountain dog, 14 year old deaf, 3 legged cattle dog and the cat.

Katelyn Britton
Katelyn grew up in Indiana and moved to Colorado 2 years ago to begin new roots. With that change came another: after years of working in the real estate industry, she was determined to get back to following her true passion of helping animals. Loving all creatures, from insects and rats to dogs and cats, she knew veterinary medicine was where she wanted to be. Katelyn loves hiking with her golden retriever, June, and cuddling up at home with her cat, Mitzy. When she’s not hard at work, she also enjoys Krav Maga, gaming, the arts, gardening, and a good book.

Amanda Crow
Growing up, Amanda had a wide range of animals, including exotics, cats, dogs and chickens. After marrying her high school sweetheart, earning her business degree, Certificate in Medical Assistance, and Esthetician License she decided to combine her love for medicine with her love for animals. She is currently earning her Certificate in Veterinary Technology at Penn Foster College.

Laurie Waters
Laurie’s background in psychology and love for animals sparked her career in veterinary medicine and landed her a longstanding job at a nearby veterinary emergency hospital and specialty center. Laurie champions wellness and celebrations at our hospital. She has a particular soft spot for Golden Retrievers and adores spending time with her grandkids.
