Advanced Radiology Services for Pets
Using state of the art technology, Clear Creek Animal Hospital is able to perform many radiographic procedures to help diagnose your pet’s illness. Currently, Clear Creek Animal Hospital has digital x-rays, digital dental x-rays, and ultrasound capabilities. For more complex cases, such as MRI and CT scans, we are able to refer to an imaging facility.
X-Ray
Clear Creek Animal Hospital offers digital radiology, or x-ray to our patients. Digital radiology uses less radiation and the results are available quickly. If needed, the images can easily be sent to a Radiologist or specialist for consultation.
At Clear Creek Animal Hospital, ultrasound examinations are performed using a non-invasive technique that causes minimal stress to your pet and generally does not require sedation. Ultrasounds are typically used to diagnose heart and abdominal issues.
Dental X-Ray
Dental x-rays are an important tool that our veterinarians use to evaluate your pet’s oral health. Digital dental X-rays allow high-quality radiographs to be taken and reviewed tableside, allowing the doctor to evaluate and treat dental disease immediately. This minimizes anesthesia time for your pet. Dental x-rays allow us to see below the gumline and get a clear picture of the tooth roots and surrounding bone. This information is essential in planning the best possible treatment for your pet.
