Ultrasounds are typically used to diagnose heart and abdominal issues. They are a great alternative to surgery, as the radiologist can evaluate and measure the abdominal organs, often providing a diagnosis without performing surgery. Ultrasounds are performed and analyzed in-house by a board-certified radiologist.
