Anna Lindsey, DVM
Owner and Veterinarian
Dr. Anna Lindsey earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 1994. She has extensive experience in small animal medicine with a special interest in dentistry, internal medicine, and Fear Free hospital visits. With many years of experience and exposure to shelter environments Dr. Lindsey also has an appreciation for spay and neutering as well as the need for affordable pet care.
Dr. Lindsey is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the American Veterinary Dental Society (AVDS).
As Wheat Ridge resident and neighbor, Dr. Lindsey enjoys gardening, crafting, and attending local Farmer's Markets. The stained glass art pieces in the hospital were all created by Dr. Lindsey.
Debbie Nickel - Lead Receptionist
Debbie Nickel has a strong passion for the well being of animals and their owners alike. In the past, she has owned a very successful pet care and boarding business and has also managed several veterinary hospitals over the span of her career. Debbie has also volunteered with Shih Tzu Rescue of Colorado. In her spare time, Debbie enjoys quality time with her three Shih Tzus, Daisy, Sampson, and Toffee.
Kevin Murphy - Lead Certified Veterinary Technician
Kevin Murphy attended Colorado State University from 2006-2010 and graduated from Bel-Rae School of Veterinary Technology in 2013. Kevin has special interests in management and surgery. His hobbies outside of the hospital are weight-lifting (Kevin can bench press 370lbs!), attending concerts, and spending time outdoors boating, fishing, and camping.

Heather Nguyen - Veterinary Assistant
Heather very much enjoys working with all kinds of animals. Before coming to Clear Creek Animal Hospital Heather worked at an all-exotics hospital in Utah helping treat chickens, goats, lizards and much more. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, going to movies, and will never turn down Starbucks! Someday, Heather hopes to open a Cat Cafe' similar to the ones in Japan.
Leslie Reynolds - Veterinary Assistant
Leslie has been in he veterinary field for almost 10 years. She has always taken a great interest in veterinary medicine, and expanding her knowledge in the field. She hopes to finish school in the near future to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Outside of the veterinary world she also loves cooking, coloring and camping.
Jared Gonzales - Veterinary Assistant, Insurance Liaison
Jared is a Colorado native with a passion for the outdoors and animals. He graduated from Fort Lewis College with a degree in physiology. Jared has had always had an affinity toward animals and has worked as a veterinary assistant at Kindness Veterinary Hospital in Durango. He recently moved to Denver to join Clear Creek Animal Hospital team after spending the last four years working for the Colorado Division of Wildlife.
Kendra Jackson - Veterinary Assistant
After graduating with a Business Management degree, and working some odd-end jobs, Kendra realized that she wasn’t reaching her full potential by not following her passion. She realized that she was happiest while helping animals. Kendra is currently in school working towards her goal of getting into CSU's DVM program, and eventually becoming a veterinarian. In Kendra’s spare time, she enjoys taking her three dogs hiking, camping, and swimming. She also enjoys sewing, gardening, and taking care of her flock of backyard chickens.
Brendan Burns - Kennel Technician (Not Pictured)
Brendan Burns is Clear Creek Animal Hospital's Kennel Technician. He joined the team at Clear Creek Animal Hospital this last July after a 3 year volunteer stint at Butterfly Pavilion. He's currently a Junior at Standley Lake High School in Westminster and is an active Boy Scout. He enjoys animals of all kinds especially primates and aspires to be a Conservation Biologist in Madagascar. Outside of the hospital Brendan enjoys visiting zoos, photography and playing baseball.
Kaitlin Lindsey - Practice Manager
Kaitlin Lindsey is Clear Creek Animal Hospital's Practice Manager. She has worked with CCAH since it's groundbreaking in 2009 and is skilled in all aspects of the hospital. She is a member of the VHMA (Veterinary Hospital Managers Association), the CVHM (Colorado Veterinary Hospital Managers) and the Arvada and Wheat Ridge Young Professionals groups. Kaitlin is the winner of the 2012 AYP Leadership Award and holds a certificate from Colorado State University and the American Animal Hospital Association in Practice Management. When she's not at work, Kaitlin can be found at dance class or spending time with her family.
