Anesthesia at Clear Creek Animal Hospital
We take anesthesia very seriously.
Every patient undergoing anesthesia will receive a full physical exam. Bloodwork will be reviewed to evaluate liver and kidney function. A personalized anesthetic plan is then developed for each patient. We use the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety.
Patients are monitored with human grade vital function monitors. Your pet's blood pressure, heart rate, respiration rate, body temperature, oxygen level and carbon dioxide levels will be continually monitored by a dedicated Certified Veterinary Technician. During recovery, your pet is kept warm and monitored until fully awake.
