Debbie Nickel - Receptionist
Debbie Nickel is Clear Creek Animal Hospital's Receptionist with a strong passion for the well being of animals and their owners alike. Debbie has owned a very successful pet care and boarding business and has also managed several veterinary hospitals over the span of her career. She has also volunteered with Shih Tzu rescue. In her spare time, Debbie enjoys quality time with her three Shih Tzus, Daisy, Sampson, and Toffee (pictured above).
Kevin Murphy - Lead Certified Veterinary Technician
Kevin Murphy is our Certified Veterinary Technician and CCAH's Lead Technician. Kevin attended Colorado State University from 2006-2010, and graduated from Bel-Ray School of Veterinary Technology in 2013. Kevin has special interests in leadership and surgery. His hobbies outside of the hospital are weight-lifting (Kevin can bench press 370lbs!), attending concerts, and spending time outdoors boating, fishing, and camping.
Heather Nguyen - Veterinary Assistant
Heather is our newest veterinary assistant. She very much enjoys working with all kinds of animals. Before coming to Clear Creek Animal Hospital, Heather worked at an all-exotics hospital in Utah. She had the opportunity to treat chickens, pigs, and reptiles at the hospital before coming home to Colorado. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, going to movies, and will never turn down Starbucks! Someday, Heather hopes to open a Cat Cafe' similar to the ones in Japan.
Kaitlin Lindsey - Practice Manager
Kaitlin Lindsey is Clear Creek Animal Hospital's Practice Manager. She has worked with CCAH since it's groundbreaking in 2009 and is skilled in all aspects of the hospital. She is a member of the VHMA (Veterinary Hospital Managers Association), the CVHM (Colorado Veterinary Hospital Managers) and the Arvada and Wheat Ridge Young Professionals groups. Kaitlin is the winner of the 2012 AYP Leadership Award and holds a certificate from Colorado State University and the American Animal Hospital Association in Practice Management. Kaitlin is also a part-time ballerina and ballet instructor with the Academy of Classical Ballet and Your Soul's Movement. She performs classical ballets like Swan Lake and the Nutcracker with Classical Dance Theater twice a year. When she's not dancing or working at the hospital Kaitlin enjoys spending time with her family, reading Stephen King novels, and exploring Colorado's Rocky Mountains.
